The Yakima Wavehog allows you to load up to 3 surfboards securely on virtually any round, square or factory crossbars. Designed for worry free security, the WaveHog includes a pair of 12-foot steel-reinforced Ripcord straps, a pair of EVA molded Soulpads, and the S.U.P. Brah nose/tail tie-down to keep your boards motion-free and cushioned on top of your car. All components of the WaveHog system install quickly and easily without tools, so that you can concentrate on the waves.
Yakima RipCords:
The 12-foot, nylon-coated steel Ripcord cables secure and lock just about any cargo, from boats, surfboards, bikes, motorcycles, trailers, ladders, and more to your roof rack crossbars. The Ripcords feature corrosion-resistant, rubber-coated aluminum cam buckles that won't mar the finish of your vehicle or board. Coming complete with SKS locks and keys, the Ripcord straps ensure that your cargo stays put on the drive and in the parking lot.
Yakima SoulPads:
The EVA-molded, aero SoulPads from Yakima keep your surf, paddle, or windsurf board cushioned and protected on most round, square, or factory crossbars--right out of the box. The 16-inch wide SoulPads take the jolt out of the ride, so that your board is ready to hit the water.

The S.U.P. Brah Tie-Down System secures the nose and tail of your board, providing the extra support you need to keep longer boards from sliding or swaying on the rack as you drive.
Yakima Planet Payback:
Yakima strives to create less waste and consume less energy with their Planet Payback Initiative. In order to reduce environmental impact: uses up to 85 percent post-consumer recycled content and water-based inks; never uses white cardboard, which contaminates water processing facilities with chlorine; and uses a minimum of 30 percent FSC-certified recycled paper in all printed materials. Yakima cargo boxes are made from up to 80 percent recycled ABS plastic. Steel and plastic parts on all of Yakima's hitch products are 100 percent recyclable. All plastic factory scrap is recycled on-site--resulting in decreased downstream waste and 20 percent recycled content is used in all plastic parts.
