The sock can be adjusted from 68 inches long to as short as 48 inches long, and can still be used with shorter boards. UV Protection The sun can quickly destroy any surfboard with harmful UV rays. Impact Protection Nothing can protect your board for all damage, but with huge section of 4mm of foam padding on each side of the nose you can give your board a chance of surviving when you drop it on your garage floor. The dual layered fabric will keep all of the other things in your boat from scratching your beautiful board. Simple, Easy to use design The length of the surfsock is adjusted with a toggle on each side of the board, just tighten to shrink the sock and loosen to lengthen. No sloppy fabric dragging on the ground or room for your board to slip out of your grip. We also use a double-layered elastic fabric for double protection and a nice tight fit around your board. The stretchy fabric also allows you to keep your fins in your board while traveling (although for the sake of your fins you should probably take them out for travel).
