The Kapok Dry Fly Dubbing Full Selection Dispenser is the ultimate in fishing fly dubbing due to its exceptional buoyancy, often referred to as 'life jackets for flies'. This natural hollow fibre, when dubbed into split thread, retains its buoyancy, making your dry flies float better than any other natural dubbing. It's half the thickness of superfine dubbing, resembling instant moles fur or moles fur in various colors. Ideal for tiny dry flies and nymphs, it provides perfect definition on small flies instead of bulky traditional dubbing. Kapok (Ceiba pentandra), a moisture-resistant, quick-drying, resilient, and buoyant fibre, has been used in life jackets and boats. Traditionally difficult to dye, Semperfli's computer-based dying machinery enables repeatable colors. Buoyancy is lost slowly, absorbing water gradually over days. Available in natural/earthy colors, fibres average 1.8cm/0.7inch with diameters of 30 to 36 micrometres, making it finer than superfine dubbing. It comes in low profile dubbing boxes, with each compartment containing the same amount of dubbing as a standard dispenser.
