- HOW TO APPLY: Hot waxing application! Wax 101: Using a ski-waxing iron, hold the Purl Sub-Zero Green wax block against the hot iron to melt (approx. 260F*- but keep below smoking point). With iron always moving, use the drip-on or crayon-on method to apply the wax. *Experiment with your iron to find the right temperature setting, keeping it below smoking point.
