Lightweight versatile mountainsports climbing helmet. Color: red / Size: M/L - The Meteor by Petzl is a lightweight helmet with reinforced predection for climbing and mountaineering and especially suited for ski touring. Designed for climbing and mountaineering, the Meteor by Petzl is lightweight and low profile, with excellent ventilation, making it comfortable for both summer and winter. The design provides reinforced predection to the top and circumference of the head. Optimal integration points for ski goggles or visors making it a thoughtfully styled helmet that is particularly suited for ski touring. Meteor by Petzl is CE certified as a ski touring helmet, but does not meet the requirements of the EN 1077 standard for helmets for alpine ski helmets. - Lightweight, low profile, ventilated helmet - The low profile design of this helmet is accomplished using In-Mold construction with an expanded polystyrene (Eps) foam liner injected inside a lightweight polycarbonate shell - Large vents offer excellent air flow - High quality construction and a sleek design - Enhanced predection - Designed in accordance with Petzl's Top And Side Predection label - Designed for optimal predection against lateral, front and rear impacts - The first CE certified ski touring helmet - Optimal ventilation on both the ascent and descent
