The Petzl Macchu is the ideal sit harness for children who are ready to advance in their climbing.
Designed for children less than 40 kg (88 lbs), the Macchu bridges the gap between full-body harnesses and adult gear. It features fully adjustable waist and leg loops, allowing the harness to grow with your child for several seasons of use. The construction uses Petzl's ENDOFRAME Technologyidentical to the adult lineensuring excellent weight distribution and comfort so your child can hang freely without complaining of pressure points.
Safety is the priority: the harness features a colored connection loop that provides a quick visual check for the belayer to ensure the carabiner is attached correctly. It also includes two gear loops and an accessory loop for a chalk bag, giving young climbers the same feeling of independence as the adults. Note: For children with less defined hips, this harness can be paired with the Petzl BODY shoulder straps (sold separately) to create a full-body harness system.
