To maintain good grip on the rubber surfaces, use a damp cloth on the surfaces. If there is wax remnant, on the rubber surfaces base cleaner liquid can be used. To further enhance the stickiness of the rubber surfaces, rubbing alcohol (isopropyl alcohol) can be used on the rubber surfaces with a cloth.
