This style axe, seen in many early paintings and photos, was popular with Prairie and Northern Plains tribes throughout the 1800s. Our authentic replica, with its wide, classic weeping heart piercing, features an 8-1/4" long x 4" wide blade fitted to a finely finished, tack-decorated 24" hardwood handle with a carved, "stair-step" grip. Available in hand-forged iron.
