Description

  • Handforge by The Kami and Biswakarma castes who are the traditional inheritors of the art of kukri-making. It is handmade using the top quality materials in a very traditional way with predictable tools.
  • 13.5" long blade made of high graded carbon steel, 5" long dark rosewood full tang handle 18.5" overall length (appox), weighs about 800 grams only khukuri/knife and with sheath 1050 grams. Thickness of the blade is about 9mm at the spine.
  • Its use has varied from building, clearing, chopping firewood, digging, slaughtering animals for food, cutting meat and vegetables, skinning animals, and opening cans. Its use as a general farm and household tool. The Kukri can be use as survival knife or camping knife for outdoor lover..

EGKH The sergeant kukri is based on a Kukri carried by a sergeant in the Military during the Burma campaign in WW2. The kukri comes with a 13.5 inch long hollow forge blade with a 2.5 inch belly depth, with a weight of around 800 grams. The handle has white metal fittings, with a horn handle, as per the original. It comes in a good quality Military scabbard and carrying frogs. There is Chakmak and karda on the scabbard with the Military range. This kukri was most likely made by the regimental or battalion armorer to the sergeant requirement, but also so that it corresponded Official pattern carry. on this kukri blade marked maker name in Devanagari(Nepali Language) and mark EGKH trademark to verify the quality.
