This Crusades shield is made of 16 gauge thick steel which will protect you from poundings in reenactments and tournaments. This SCA shield comes with a choice of two 1 1/2 inch genuine thick leather straps already attached so you can use it right out of the box (extra charge) or a wall hanging chain. It is hand-painted and coated in polyurethane to protect the paint work. This Crusades combat shield will truly fit right in on the field of battle! This shield is hand-painted by our skilled artists. Since this item is hand-painted it is treated as custom work.
