Perfect for Kayakers with no onboard power supply to all the benefits of the SmartBird line of products right at hand. The low profile and small footprint of these vessels, from a safety standpoint, begs for a portable device always ready to mark you location visually and/or audibly. For all of us, having a battery backup is just plain smart. It is nice to have a portable light, but if we ever really need it it is neatly tucked away on-board.
