All of our Thirteen.02 Men's Watch Bands are made of high quality Italian Leather. Vegetable Tanned Leather - Our Beige, Black and Cognac bands are all made of premium vegetable tanned leather. This traditional vegetable-based tanning process requires skilled artisans and is time consuming, it takes an average of 40 days from start to finish, and is made with almost no chemicals. Also, the hides used to create the straps are left over from animals already harvested for the sole consumption of meat products, thus these bands have a minimal environmental impact. Additionally, because this is a natural tanned leather, the leather will absorb the proteins of the person wearing it and will darken and caramelize over time giving it its own unique look.
